IT Security and Governance Manager

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a prominent local group. Our client is looking to hire an IT Security and Governance Manager to join their business on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining adequate programs to ensure information assets and technologies are appropriately protected across the organisation. This includes identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining processes across the organisation to reduce information and IT related risks.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a Degree in computer / information sciences coupled with information security certifications such as CCIE, ISO 27001/2, ITSM and PMP. You should have at least 7 years demonstrable in-depth technical experience in information security and IT governance ideally within Europe or North America. It is essential you have a strong background in a variety of disciplines across IT including application development lifecycle, PMP / Prince 2 project management, business / system analysis and IT governance / information assurance.
