Job description / Role
Undertake system development/enhancements activities in order to ensure current and future user requirements are met in support of business operations.
Undertake system maintenance and testing activities.
Resolve system problems and bugs.
Analyze and evaluate new or enhanced system functionality.
Appropriately analyze and resolve problems, referring them to superiors as necessary, in order to minimize the effect on business operations.
Provide Support and analysis of system problems, including user support.
Actively maintain a current level of knowledge of the relevant technical environment through both formal training and self-development.
Conduct QA and code level testing for the developed software.
Conduct system migrations and integration
Provide in-house training for the developed programs
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience programming and developing experience ( Analysis, design and programming).
Bachelors of computer science required.
Solid experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Access.
Solid experience in Microsoft Visual Studio, ASP and .NET
Experience in Crystal reports and Microsoft reporting services is desirable.
Experience in oracle RDMBs is desirable.
Experience in Microsoft SharePoint is desirable.
Experience in JAVA programming is desirable .
Good problem solving skills.
Good analytical skills.
Experience in banking and Investment management.
