IT Solutions Analyst (Oracle eAM)

Job description / Role

The primary purpose of this role within the team is to provide professional and quality functional and technical support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12. The role is also to support and provide on the job training and knowledge sharing to the existing team members and end users to a competent level of support of Oracle technologies. This includes, but is not limited to, security administration, reporting tools and technologies, personalization and customization methods as well as functional instruction.

As part of the Enterprise Applications Team, this role aims to provide a consistent customer facing Service Management model across all areas of the Group, whilst also supporting other applications used. This support would include end users, enterprise system, third party software and in house developed solutions, in accordance with IT policies and practices, minimizing system disruption and downtime.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years IT industry experience
- Must have a Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems
- Excellent communication skills, fluent written and spoken English and able to confidently speak to large groups / lead workshops
- Strong support experience with Oracle Enterprise Asset Management
- Experience in at least 1 complete end to end Oracle EBS implementations
- 3 years experience required supporting Oracle EBS
- Experience of other modules (Finance, Inventory, Procurement) an advantage
- Experience of following ITIL framework
- Provide on the job training to end users in Oracle technologies.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, set and meet deadlines

- Excellent knowledge of Windows 7 / MS Office 2010, particularly Excel, Word and Project
- Solid understanding of relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL)
