Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading organisation in Qatar. Our client is looking to hire an Arabic speaking IT Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
You will provide first level user support to all company computer system operators and establish and maintain the service standard. You will also manage an inventory control system that registers hardware and software assets. In addition, you will receive service requests, establish the nature of the problem and resolve the issue if it is software related and / or contact hardware vendor and arrange for the transfer of such hardware. It is essential that you provide the IT support requirements whether remotely, onsite, offshore, onshore or remote project offices ensuring you deliver an efficient services to end users.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have significant knowledge of software installation alongside excellent experience in hardware installation. Knowledge of network cabling would be highly desirable. You should speak fluent Arabic and well as have effective communications skills in spoken and written English.
