Job description / Role
Scope of position:
A Branch IS oversees IS operational and technical support on his branch.
Key components of this role are:
• To execute Regular IS Basic Tasks
• To keep the systems up & running.
• System and Network Administration
• Generate customized reports as required by operations
• Provide technical Support for branch Operations with incoming support queries related to application and reporting needs.
Major responsibilities
- Basic branch Technical Support for Hardware/Software, LAN & troubleshooting
- Monitors and performs daily Systems Backup (Sun, Intel, …)
- Responsible for compliance with IS Audits.
- Support branch disaster recovery efforts as they occur
- Prepare ad-hoc reports using SQL, Crystal Reports and Excel
- Offer lean solution in terms of Automation and reporting to help Operations team to monitor and improve their processes.
Requirements
Skills Required:
Expert level with MS. Excel (including macro programming) is a must
Pc & Network, Support and troubleshooting
Fluent in English is a must
Good Communications skills
Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript and Crystal reports will be an added advantage
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree/ Equivalent qualification
• Computer & Networking certification
• Minimum 2 -3 years of working experience with similar type role utilizing the skills listed above
