Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are working with this international provider of welfare to work and educational services, who are leading a new JOB SCHOOLS PILOT introducing Saudi Arabia to a new welfare to work programme commencing in February 2015. They require an IT Support Manager (Riyadh Male), to join in January.

Key responsibilities and result areas:
- Fully understand HRDF contract requirements and liaise with operational staff to ensure the system caters to all operational needs
- Scoping, design and implementation of the data fields, drop down lists and workflow
- Ensure that customer contact strategy through use of HRDF IT System is fully completed and consistent in all areas (letters, SMS, email)
- Work with external software supplier to ensure all requirements are implemented on IT system including MI
- Review, test and evaluate all change requests before going live, reporting back any issues to software supplier
- Initiate and lead roll outs for system upgrades and enhancements
- Train and communicate any changes to users before release to live environment
- Attend meetings as member of the IT team to review business change and to prioritise and supervise any development change requests
- Provide online and remote, 1st line technical support for all IT Systems
- At all times, provide professional and prompt service to our internal customers
- Perform routine audits of systems and software
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

- Need to be able to work using own initiative and with very little supervision
- Must be self-motivated and willing to develop own skills to increase knowledge and keep up with marketplace and demand
- Be versatile, able to multitask and work well under pressure
- Be analytical in approach and have good problem solving skills
- Be able to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
- Be able to react to fast-changing business demands
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisation skills
- Confident communicator
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong team player willing to learn from and share knowledge with colleagues
- Quickly adapts to new IT Systems and technologies
- Minimum 3 years work experience in a software environment, implementing systems to tight deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of Windows 7/8 and Microsoft Office
- Be flexible to travel at short notice to attend meetings and provide IT Systems support

Start date will be January 2015.
