IT Systems Analyst (Connectivity)

Job description / Role

The IT Systems Analyst will support all telecommunications activities including cabling, infrastructure, maintenance, installation, configuration, and programming of the following :
• Narrow Band and Broad Band Radio Communication Systems
• Telephony Systems ( TDM / IP)
• VHF/UHF Handheld and Base Stations.

1.Design, implement and maintain Radio and Telephony communication systems at all Company locations.
2. Maintain a thorough understanding of complex Radio Communications Systems both narrow and broad band and Telephony (TDM/IP) systems.
3. Design, setup and configure complex communication environments wired and wireless that supports simplex / duplex voice and video applications
4.Develops and implements company systems for high performance and high availability and ensures thatprocesses/systems are in place.

Salary: AED 23,000 plus benefits

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have deployed and maintained

Medium scale, Radio and Telephony communication and Navigation System for a minimum of 5 years and have demonstrated increasing scope and responsibility in Radio/ Telephony Systems
Engineering for a minimum of 10 years
.
5 Years minimum hands-on experience in deploying, maintaining, repairing Motorola Handheld radios, TAIT VHF/ UHF Base Stations, NDBs, Sailor Marine Radios, Jotron/ Becker Air band Radios.

In–depth Knowledge and experience in designing, implementing and managing PTP and PTMP radio networks is essential.

Project management skills are important and demonstrated experience is an advantage.

Experience of ITIL framework / processes a plus.
