Job Title: IT Systems Analyst
Business/Department: IT Department
Reporting To: Infrastructure Team Lead
Job Purpose
The IT Systems Analyst will support all telecommunications activities including cabling, infrastructure, maintenance, installation, configuration, and programming of network devices such as Switches, Routers, VPN, Firewalls, Remote Access and VoIP.
Salary : AED 23,000
Requirements
Key Result Areas (Key Accountabilities) (max. 10)
1. Design, implement and maintain Network Infrastructure at all Company locations. Maintain a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP,OSPF, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.)
2. Design, setup and configure complex switching environments wired and wireless that supports secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications
3. Develops and implements company systems for high performance and high availability and ensures that processes/systems are in place to provide security protection of all the company’s multi-site computing infrastructure.
4. Manage the usage of the LAN system and its resources on a regular basis to identify bottlenecks and to carry out appropriate tuning. Troubleshoot reported bandwidth issues and resolve or work with customers to determine root cause.
5. Provides a range of systems/network design, setup, maintenance and support services to LAN/WAN and VPN users at all Company locations. Reviews and implements new technologies, provides documentation and trains users in all aspects of hardware and software.
6. Perform Network Operation including Monitoring, configuration management, and systems administration.
7. Actively participates in solution design and development activities with other teams to ensure security, availability and optimal performance of the network infrastructure.
11. Adherence to all internal Company & IT policies & procedures, including ITIL Change, Incident and Problem Management processes and the Project Management processes.
