Job description / Role
Job Profile:
The IT Support Engineer will be working in a team of other IT engineers for a retail luxury client. He will provide day-to-day troubleshooting, problem-solving, consultation, and training to computer users for hardware, software, network and peripheral devices. He will be working on different tasks assigned by the team leader and will also participate in various IT projects execution and implementation.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide Level1 and Level2 support for end users
•Create, manage and follow up on incidents and work orders using ticketing management software
•Installation and setup of new desktops, laptops, printers and other IT devices
•Ensure proper functionality/support of the warehouse IT equipment
•Provide proactive IT visits for retail stores in Dubai, Abu Dhabi as well as other countries in the GCC
•Identifying and addressing complex usability problems
•Assisting in the purchasing of new services, hardware, software, and other IT supplies.
•Managing various user accounts such as Active directory and emails
•Managing and updating the knowledge base
•Assist in other IT issues assigned by the team leader
•Working with the team on various projects
•Accurately maintaining the IT asset inventory
•Support and assist in other projects/rollouts/initiatives support
