IT Technician

Job description / Role

Required experience
1. Upgrade PC memory, hardware when requested by user.
2. Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network. Also monitoring the use of the web by employees.
3. Ensure that applicable project management practices are followed throughout project lifecycles.
4. Verify availability of barcode identification numbers on new IT equipments and dispatch to respective locations after approval from Manager-IT.
5. Familiar with computer networks and related computing environments including server hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations
6. Prepare assets track report containing updated locations of IT equipment and software installed in workstations, at concerned locations.
7. Maintain record of obsolete IT equipment at assigned locations for shifting to Systems workshop.
8. Perform other related duties as requested.
9. Should have good working knowledge of the following OS UNIX and Windows NT20002003Languages C++, Java, HTML, .NET,ASPRDBMS SQL 2000, Oracle 9 or higher version Tools Crystal Report writer 8.0 or higher, Developer 2000, SQL Forms, SQL Plus professional.

Requirements

Educational
Computer Science, Preferable Computer Science Supervise Installing, configuring and upgrading operating systems.

Skills
1. At least 10 years experience of work experience for engineer MCA or at least 15 years for non engineer MCA.
2. Minimum of 5 years experience of working in Healthcare industry as a senior IT Manager Level.
3. Experience of working with Hospital Information systems.
4. Hands On experience of working with Lab Information System (LIS).
5. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
6. Must be capable of handling a team-Must have experience in managing the software support.
