Employment: Full Time

Virtual Human Resources (VHR) is one of the industry's leading suppliers of permanent and contract expertise to Airlines, Maintenance Repair Organisations, Manufacturers and IT related organizations.

JOB PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Tech Support Analyst is to analyse and respond to critical incidents on the web-site and perform operational IT activities, e.g. monitoring and running scheduled tasks.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1 Responsible for analysing and responding to critical incidents raised against the web-site.
2 Responsible for performing operational IT activities that ensures the web-site continues to function. These includes logging maintenance, monitoring and running scheduled tasks
3 Responsible for maintaining the incident tickets in the corporate incident tracking tool. This includes regular updates to the incident tickets in compliance with the SLAs.
4 Responsible for management and maintenance of the repository of documents used to support and operate the web-site including a regular review and update cycle.
5 Accountable for supporting the current process and optimizing the support process, using automated tools where possible.
6 Accountable for maintaining an understanding of the functional and non-functional requirements of the web-site to ensure that they understand how the web-site is expected to operate.
7 Responsible for escalating risks and issues (technical or otherwise) relating to the web-site that may affect operations.
8 Accountable for working with other analysts and suppliers to resolve issues outside of their responsibility and skill set.

OPERATING ENVIRONMENT:

- Will have to work outside regular hours following shift patterns to ensure that the system is supported at all times

The Tech Support Analyst must be able to demonstrate expertise in the following technologies:
Application Analyst
Required
* EpiServer/SharePoint (Or other CMS exposure)
* SQL Server/SQL/T-SQL
* ASP.Net
* WC3 JavaScript
* HTML v 4.x and 5.x
* WC3 CSS
* Supported mission critical websites
* Worked in a project or service delivery programme
* Microsoft Windows Administration
* Administering Virtual machines (VMware)

Optional
* Linux Administration
* Understanding of Oracle DBs support and administration.

Qualification & Education:
Required
- University degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline
- Understanding of IT systems development/implementation approaches

Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in developing enterprise web and business-critical applications.
- Proven ability to adapt to working overseas in a multi-cultural environment
- Proven ability to work as part of a team with ability to work closely with business teams

Training & Knowledge:
- ITIL Service Designs
- Airline/travel domain knowledge is desirable
- Good knowledge of current and up and coming technologies, IT products in web/airline/travel/corporate Finance/HR space

Able to manage their own time to ensure that deadlines are met.
