Job description / Role
My client is a global leader in providing SW solutions in the Asset Management arena. They are currently seeking 2 highly skilled implementation profiles for a number of specific projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
As an implementation consultant you would provide the full range of post sales activities including product installation, implementation & configuration. Data conversion and data take-on activities as well as user training and support are also integral to the role. There is ample opportunity to grow along with the company and take on responsibility literally from day one.

The professional services practice primarily focuses on delivery of our highly regarded technically advanced product, to clients across Middle East and Asia. Consultants in the group are considered to be both technical experts as well as possessing detailed understanding of the business area concerned. Their clients look to us to gain industry best practice from our involvement in a project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analysis of clients business processes & system requirements
- Customizing the product using meta-data
- Managing client engagements over the project life-cycle
- Liaise with development staff for any enhancement requests, bespoke development or bug fixing
- Application testing and data reconciliation activities
- Conduct formal product training, support solution demonstrations and presentations
Requirements
SKILLS
- Relational databases (MS SQL Server & Oracle)
- Proficient in at least one programming language
- General problem solving and solution design
- Strong management & communication skills
EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Anywhere from 2 - 10 years working experience in software development or technical consulting
- Enterprise application implementation & support
- Private Equity and Venture Capital or Finance an advantage
- IT background
- Not BA but Implementation Consultant
- hands-on configuration experience
- experience in the financial industry
- excellent written and spoken English
- smart, bright, hard-working and ready to work in a dynamic organization
- Western Educated only
Specific development experience is not required, but the candidate must know at least one technical language and must have practiced this language
Extensive experience in at least one of the below is required.
- Technical skills: vb scripting, excel, ajax, SAS language, Microsoft SQL, Oracle
- Financial skills: accounting, trading, anything related to finance (PE/VC experience)
LOCATION
Based in Abu Dhabi, with extensive travel within the Middle East & Asia
