Job description / Role
Our client is a leading company within the Frozen Food industry in the UAE, we are seeking an Import Export Clearance Incharge to join their well reputed organisation. The ideal candidate has UAE experience of working within the Frozen food industry in a Finance role.
The Role
1. Clear all import consignments arriving by Air/ Sea or Land transportation
2. Must be well versed with rules and regulations concerning clearance of fresh and frozen food items
3. Carry out all documentation concerning import and exports.
4. Liaison with clearing agent, concerned authorities, Transporter Company and internally within the company with respective departments.
5. Candidate must ensure compliance with local municipality and Food Control authorities in UAE and be able to effectively deal with them.
6. Knowledge of seafood products would be an advantage.
7. Knowledge of import and export products to/ from UAE of seafood products and carry out formalities with Ministry of water and environment, ministry of economy, Chamber of Commerce etc.
Requirements
1. Must be A graduate from recognized University.
2. Must be Bilingual, Fluency in Arabic and English.
3. Must be able to use online systems to prepare clearance documentation.
4. Driving license is a must.
5. Prior UAE experience is must.
6. Highly motivated, career minded and able to work under intense work environment.
