Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The incumbent will lead the execution of a multi-year project to manage the in Kingdom handling of imported materials. This responsibility includes coordinating with US-based and Saudi Arabia-based teammates, suppliers and partners, establishing methods, processes and procedures and project plans, and executing the resulting project plans to ensure the timely import /export of material and delivery to in-Kingdom suppliers.

The Project Management Specialist executes project plan consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key stakeholders in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry The Project Management Specialist will:
- Support training, and development of less senior staff
- Provide day-to-day leadership of the Project Team
- Establish processes, procedures, and plans for the assigned project
- Manage the material importation /export process to include:
- Lead the import/temporary import process
- Lead the export process
- Lead the return of temporary imported shipment
- Follow up with suppliers/Freight Forwarder for related documents
- Manage and interface with Freight Forwarders/external brokers
- Interface, request and expedite licenses/approvals from relevant authorities including Ministry of Defense (MoD), Ministry of Interior (MoI), Public Security, Communication and Information Technology Commission (CITC) and Customs HQ.

Requirements

Native Arabic speaker, and understands English language. Extensive experience in customs (minimum of 8 years in a similar position or with the combination of experience & qualification High school certificate or above/s preferably in an international company)

Benefits and pay will be determined at the local level and are not part of the Boeing U.S. based payroll, and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable KSA law.
