In Country System Engineer Manager

Position Summary:
The In-Country Systems Engineering Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the staff, both technical and para-technical. The engineering manager ensures that the required level of site design is provided to the project divisions at the required standard and responsible to meet the time line requirements and holds the responsibility to ensure that the engineering staff has the required level of experience, training and expertise to provide all design needs of the engineering clients. The engineering manager is the main interface between the engineering headquarters team and the local engineering team.

Responsibilities
- Supervise recruitment, development, retention, and organization of all engineering and product development staff in accordance with corporate budgetary objectives and personnel policies
- Provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on project management, for all site technical issues
- Responsible for conducting engineering review at each critical stage of the engineering cycle.
- To ensure the optimal application of technology and engineering resources to meet customer requirements, per the system requirements document
- Ensure implementation of formal processes to support the product development process
- Participate in developing Statements of Work (SOWs) for the overall solution in coordination with Project Managers ; drives estimates and work-breakdown; define engineering work plan, development work items for peer developers, and participates in pre-sales consultation meetings
- Responsible for requirements management via the company tools
- Work with customers to understand their business problems, scope of work, and priorities
- Formulate long-term objectives and standards of performance for the department
- Ensure implementation and refinement as required of formal process to support the V cycle process

Requirements

Education / Certification Requirements:
- BSc in Engineering (preferable Electronics, Aeronautics) Mandatory
- MSc in System Engineering Advantage

Skills and Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience as System Engineer in complex integrated systems
- Overall 10 years and above of Engineering experience
- At least 6 years experience managing and/or directing engineering and product development teams
- Experience in requirement management, system design, integration, testing and integration in a system environment
- Knowledge in IT and network system for large data center - Mandatory
- Knowledge in video system and video management system- Advantage
- Experience in business domain such as: Infra-structure security, border protection, critical asset security, homeland security, Defense- Advantage
