Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Recruitment Officer manages the day to day recruitment activities in line with the direction of the recruitment manager, he/she handles sourcing, shortlisting and selecting suitable candidates to fill job vacancies internally.

- Ensure achievement of recruitment needs as per the approved manpower budget.
- Lead and implement the recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
- Review applicants CVs to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
- Conduct pre-screening interviews, tests and personality assessments
- Perform reference and background checks for potential employees
- Coordinate and follow-up with the hiring managers until the position is closed
- Ensure new employee induction is properly implemented
- Enrich CVs database.
- Handles internal job posting on company website or registered online portals
- Coordinates internal training schedule/attendees with other departments and stores
- Filter received CVs, and shortlist according to the approved criteria
- Announce the selected candidate after obtaining approvals.
- Prepare comparison sheets and offer letters
- Offer candidates
- Draft and initiate familiarization plans. Coordinate the plans with the respective department heads.
- Maintain an accurate database and filing system
- Formulate and submit reports as required by the recruitment manager to reflect recruitment department efforts and achievements

Requirements

The ideal Candidate would be;

- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or the equivalent
- Min 2 years of experience in Recruitment is required, previous experience recruiting for Retail, specifically luxury is a great plus.
- Must have excellent Communication Skills and ability to fluently express themselves in English (verbally and in written) Arabic would be a great plus
- Must be Self-Confident and a good negotiator
- Presentable
- Ability to multi-task, works well under pressure and ability to work well autonomously with minimal supervision.
