Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a provider of engineering, construction and project management. They are currently working on one of the most ambitious construction projects in the world and have a requirement for an Industrial Development Supervisor.

Requirements:
• Plans, organizes and supervises the identification, classification and status of industrial land allocation and utility requirements in accordance with the client’s procedures.
• Supervises the Industrial Specialists in the assessment of industrial development requests and site selection land allocation, plus infrastructure and utility availability.
• Monitors staff performance and appraisals and applies a positive team approach.
• Proactively coordinates interdepartmental input and timely response to requests from industries such as Engineering, Environmental, Infrastructure, Urban planning, Industrial security and outside agencies.
• Preparation of weekly, monthly and bi-annual reports and presentations on status and assures QC of documents and processes.
• Supervises the preparation of land lease agreements and amendments.
• Leads investors through the process of application and allocation of land to achieve the securing of a lease agreement for industrial development.

Requirements

Skills Required:

• University degree in Engineering.
• Multi-disciplined experience in all phases of projects delivery, petrochemical experience, and
business knowledge.
• Overseas experience, a good communicator both written and oral and computer skills.
• Arabic speaker, but not essential.
