Job description / Role
Our company seeks candidates for an expected USG project aimed at Monitoring and Evaluation systems in Afghanistan. The overall objective of the project is to develop and implement a system that will enable the mission to effectively use performance information in decision-making and fulfill its performance monitoring, evaluation, reporting and information dissemination requirements across its group of activities. This position will be based in Afghanistan.
The Information Management (IM) Specialist will be responsible for regularly using the USG Afghan Info database to download and manage project output data that will be used for verification and monitoring activities, for managing the upload of final verification and monitoring data back into the system, and for maintaining any monitoring data that is not stored in Afghan Info (e.g., personally identifiable information). The IM specialist will also assist the M&E team on collecting, housing and presenting data from surveys or from other monitoring methods. The IM specialist will also oversee technological applications for both internal and external project purposes.
Requirements
•Additional requirements for this position include at least 5 years of experience in international development.
•Academic Degree: Minimum of BS/BA related to work being performed or equivalent
•Must be proficient in English speaking, reading and writing skills.
