Job description / Role
One of the leading banks in the UAE are looking for an innovative Information Security professional to join a high-calibre team in Dubai. The team have a number of projects relating to mobile and application security and the position will focus on Penetration Testing within these areas.
Working as part of the wider Operational Risk division, the team will be responsible for designing & implementing a comprehensive operational risk management framework that is structured to identify, measure, monitor and control operational risk exposures.
Other responsibilities include:
- To identify & study the security architecture of applications, operating systems and network devices for security vulnerabilities
- Help define the Group-wide information security standards as well as review IT Security architecture
- Help evaluate and suggest new products and enhance the present infrastructure and technology environment
- Provide an expert IT Security advisory service within the bank
- To support and implement Groups requirement on ISO/PCI-DSS compliance
Requirements
The candidate will play a key role in the implementation of an IT security management framework for all business units and subsidiaries of the bank. The specific focus for this individual will be the IT security relating to some key application and mobile projects so relevant experience in performing similar application and mobile penetration testing is required.
Due to the nature of the work being performed, candidates should have experience working within heavily governed and regulated environments, with some exposure to financial services/banking environments required.
To aid the documentation and communication of threats, vulnerabilities and general information security findings, candidates should have excellent communication skills in English, and should be confident managers of senior stakeholders.
