Information Technology (IT) Engineer

Job description / Role

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. The IT Engineer will be responsible for reviewing and implementing the Power Station IT Policies and Procedures to enable the Power Station IT and communications systems to achieve excellent reliability and security.

The role holder will also support the Power Station team to resolve any IT or communication problems. Also the role holder will be responsible for developing and implementing cyber security and business continuity procedures.

Requirements

- An accredited degree in IT Engineering with at least 2-3 years experience in an IT role
- Demonstrated competence at Engineering level with adequate education and training supported
- Leading IT teams
- Defining IT policy and drafting procedures
- Excellent understanding of business IT network management and technical support
- Good knowledge of business Microsoft Office and server software, CMMS software, PI database, GP Finance software
- Commercial awareness
