Infrastructure Architecture Consultant

Job description / Role

The Infrastructure Architect enables clients to achieve their challenging business and organizational objectives while leveraging value from current and future investments. Plan, orchestrate and contribute to the development and execution of the clients strategic technology plan to align with business goals in an innovative manner.

Provide advice on industry best practices and successfully integrates heterogeneous technologies and environments.

Role Responsibilities
- Provide strategic technology guidance to clients
- Collaborate with clients IT departments and company's Services Delivery organization to establish standards and processes
- Recommend process changes to improve infrastructure management and architecture practices
- Enable enterprise wide systems collaboration
- Translate business requirements into architectural designs
- Assess infrastructure and environment needs (current and future) and recommend solutions
- Determine and forecast future capacity requirements based on available historical demand and projected growth
- Perform infrastructure capacity planning
- Integrate the solution with the business, enterprise strategy, industry standards, standard operating procedures, and best practices
- Create conceptual architectural diagram of solutions and communicate to key stakeholders with respect to importance and value to the organization

- MS AD, MS Exchange, Webservers, System Center
- Proxy Solutions
- Infrastructure Monitoring
- Network solutions
- Bachelors degree in Informational Technology, Masters Degree in Business or Management

At least 8-10 years of experience in:
- Infrastructure Architecture
- Servers (Rack-mounted & Blade)
- Storage
- Virtualization and Cloud (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Windows Technologies (AD, Exchange, System Center, IIS, DNS)
- Network Architecture
