Infrastructure Design Manager - KSA - Arabic Speaking - Urgent
Our client is a world ranking and leading Architectural, Engineering, Project and Construction Management firm with offices across the GCC. With their excellent reputation within the Gulf region my client has been given the opportunity to work on one of the most high profile projects in the GCC at the moment, consequently they are looking to expand there already highly talented team to assist with the creation and implementation of this project. They are currently looking to put into place a highly experienced Design Manager with extensive Infrastructure experience.
Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate progressive experience in the following:
Responsibilities:
- Managing large, complex infrastructure projects from design through construction document production and construction administration with a multi-disciplined team.
- Thorough knowledge of design, production and construction techniques, procedures, codes, and standards.
- Preparing tender strategy; identifying qualified consultants, contractor and vendors; preparing and issuing RFPs, evaluating proposals; negotiating contract terms/deliverables/payment schedules; and issuing recommendations to the client.
- Overseeing and guiding consultants through the design process including conducting design reviews for completeness and constructability monitoring and verifying progress and timely submissions at all design phases.
- Advising clients on all matters pertaining to cost, scope and schedule.
- Reviewing and monitoring project cost estimates, value engineering proposals and cost reconciliation.
- Developing and maintaining the risk management plan.
- Strong DM experience gained working for a top consultancy.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or any other relevant discipline.
- Masters qualifications will be viewed favourably as is membership of an applicable professional association.
- Minimum of 15 years` experience in infrastructure design.
- Minimum 5 years` experience working as an Infrastructure Design Manager.
- Must be able to speak fluently in both Arabic and English.
- Must have extensive GCC knowledge.
