Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Implementing internal policies, procedures and supporting Engineer to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Participate in the development of the technical infrastructure environment (if required), to ensure functionality of appropriate security controls and protection programs
• Assist with installing and monitoring site construction, utilities connection, meters, SS, MDF, and ETS, etc, in line with the TPQ standards and quality criteria to ensure consistency and alignment with company initiatives.
• Provide support for Sr. infrastructure Engineer by responding to escalated issues, troubleshooting errors and developing technical solutions to ensure implementation of process improvements and alignment with best practices.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value “can do" people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun.
Problem Solving:
• Knowledge of Civil engineering principles, practices, and terminology with emphasis on water supply, Water distribution, wastewater treatment, MEP, telecommunication, and Environmental engineering principles, practices and methods.

• Anticipate technical problems and develop solutions.
• Prepare clear and concise reports & communicate effectively orally/in writing.
• Follow instruction; work independently and cooperatively with others.
• Knowledge of MEP and fire codes requirements, related regulations.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints and/or technical manuals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
• Technical knowledge of building components and their function. Familiar with construction material & Products, mainly Finishing products.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of building components life cycle values and maintenance requirements.
• Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality.
• Skill in the use of computers, specifically in a PC, Windows-based operating environment.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
• Knowledge of design principal, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Requirements

1. Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience

2. Experience:
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in constructions with at least 5 years in the Middle East, preferably in Qatar or the Gulf Area.
