The RoleThe RoleAccountable for: • Ensuring IT services continuity and efficient support to all IT hub units. • Provide adequate training, and awareness to achieve optimal performance. • Capacity planning, scalability, and availability of all infrastructure systems across IT hub units. • Developing operating and configuration manuals for all systems and ensuring adequate training • Ensuring the Availability of all office automation systems across IT hub units • Developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas like network infrastructure, server and SAN infrastructure, platform systems, data, communications, IT security and telecommunications systems across the IT hub. • Ensuring high level of security is available across the IT hub. • Ensure / Review / contribute in the development of IT long-term strategic plans and annual budgets across the IT hub. • Ensure Infrastructure / systems high availability across the IT hub. Key Roles: • Maintain and update system administration standards to ensure most efficient services and systems availability and security across the hub. • Ensure that all network solutions are being implemented across the hub. • Ensure that office automation monitoring and capacity planning functions are performed systematically and periodically in hub. • Manage solutions implementation across the hub and select them accordingly to the hub requirements. • Develop and update operating manuals for all IT systems and ensure adequate training. • Ensuring full compliance to IT P&Ps. • Adhere and comply with all IT P&Ps and work actively to close all related audit findings. • Manages a team of Senior and junior Infrastructure specialists, assign them projects and tasks. Oversees smooth implementation of projects. • Identify budget requirements and prepare budgets across IT hub • Prepare objectives for the staff and monitor progress • Identifies needs for resources, prepare recruitment plans and execute them as and when necessary. • Receives and evaluates request for change, conducts discussion with stakeholder on RFC’s, approves/rejects RFC’s • Ensures that issues and problems related to infrastructure are resolved in efficient and timely manner in coordination with other Units of IT department. • Conducts project planning and coordinates tasks / projects among department employees. |
RequirementsRequirementsEducation: Graduated degree in a Technical discipline (e.g. Computer Engineering / Computer Science). Experience: 12+ years in IT , 8 years in IT technical positions in a major financial institution or in a banking solution vender, and 4 yeas in IT managerial level. Competencies: • Fluent in English & Arabic. • Presentation and interpersonal skills. • Team leader. • Communication skills and documentation skills. • Analytical Skills. |
