Job description / Role
• Assess developments and plans in the organization business and assess impact on infrastructure needs
• Keep up to date with emerging trends infrastructure technology and management and assess potential for leveraging new developments in improving organization business
• Asses and maintain infrastructure capacity plans and ensure they remain aligned to organization business plans
• Take the lead in evaluating, selecting and purchasing infrastructure hardware and software, including the development of a business cases; RFPs, etc..
• Monitors the installation, configuration and support of infrastructure assets.
• Establishes and documents, together with standards manager and technology architect, standards related to the management of infrastructure
• Continually monitor performance of the infrastructure component and recommend improvement measures to enhance performance and/or mitigate occurrence of defects
• Take the lead in infrastructure projects , as project leader or project sponsor
• Documents and tracks the location and licenses related to infrastructure assets
• Take the lead in the New billers on-boarding infrastructure phase
Requirements
• A degree in computer science
• 4 years of experience working in IT infrastructure management positions
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Fair commercial and business awareness to ensure technical decisions are always judged in terms of business benefits
