The RoleThe RoleAccountable for: • Capacity planning, scalability, security, and availability of all network and communication systems. • Networking configuration and operation manuals and standards for all systems and ensuring adequate training. • Networking and communication standards development and implementation. • Adherence to P&Ps and prompt closure of related Audit findings. Development of IT long-term strategic plans and annual budgets. • Arab Bank financial communication network, ex. SWIFT. • Networking and communication services continuity and efficient support to all units globally. Key Roles: • Evaluate, select, implement, manage and operate networking solutions across the Arab Bank globally. • Ensure proper and periodic network monitoring and capacity planning globally. • Develop the needed documentation, configuration and operational manuals. • Address all networking related audit findings and implement proper solutions to close them. • Provide the needed networking consulting and advisory services to the different departments. • Collect, document and assess all networking requirements and develop the needed plans to address them. • Evaluate and manage vendors and mother companies to study any new enhancement to networking environment by upgrading or implementing a new solution. • Adhere and comply to all P&Ps and work actively to close all related audit findings. • Participate in the procurement committees and provide the needed technical assessment and recommendations. • Manage the technical teams on both support / operational and project related tasks, and provide coaching and mentoring. • Manage and operate Arab Bank global network. |
RequirementsRequirementsEducation: Graduated degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Engineering/Computer Science). Experience: at least 14 years in IT technical positions in a major financial institution or in a networking solutions vendor, of which at least 8 years in a similar position, 4 years at IT management level. • Knowhow: Detailed level know how of the networking architecture and infrastructure. • Management Capabilities: Excellent analytical and problem solving, conflict resolution, strategic thinking, communication and inter-personal and negotiation skills. • Networking related certifications; ex. CCNP. Competencies: • Creative and innovative. • Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills. • Strong Technical writing and editing skills. • Strong communications skills. • Persuasiveness. • Diversified IT technical background. • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work collectively with business partners. |
