Job description / Role
Morgan McKinley is looking for an Internal Sales Engineer for PUMPS in One of the largest Manufacturers of Engineered Industrial Products who will be based in the Dubai office. He/She will be in charge of increasing the sales volume by giving technical product assistance to the sales team and customers in the Middle East and Africa. Technical or internal sales experience in PUMPS is compulsory.
SALARY - Dhs15,000
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to various technical customer questions and establish which of the companys product compositions meet the requirements of the customers
- Offer technical backing for the appropriate utilization and setting up of pumps.
- Plan estimates delivery costs and classification of pumps.
- Develop product awareness by constant research and activity to attain and sustain the utmost level of product understanding and familiarity of manufacturing processes.
- Train the sales team, clients and Channel Partners on the company's products.
- Offer backing, under the management of the Director of Sales and Marketing, in the testing of product arrangement, pricing, margins, rationalization, market expansion and competition.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering or comparable technical degree
- 3 plus years experience in engineering or sales of pumps or similar motorized products is necessary
- Proficient in reading and interpreting design prints and customer specifications.
- Positive attitude and an energetic work ethic.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience using quote / order processing systems, SAP, VISUAL or CRM experience is preferred.
- Excellent time management, communication, customer service, and interpersonal expertise.
- Ability to work proficiently in a cross functional team (variety of people, departments and clients)
- Must be a quick learner, able to understand a variety of product functions in fairly limited time.
