Job description / Role

The role of the Inspector - Electrical/ICA will be as follows:
supervise contractor's work and monitor construction in accordance with approved programme, approved technical/design documents and drawings; review contractor's submissions; check measure of work done and materials at site; report back as necessary to the senior engineers; provide all necessary on-site direction and issue site instructions; record and display progress vs program; provide professional support to the management team within the Division, helping to ensure high quality service delivery and a co-ordinated response to clients; participate in contract administration; observe site safety practices
Requirements
Diploma in Electrical/ICA Engineering; minimum of 8 years of engineering experience, 5 of which will have been in construction supervision and 3 years on projects in water and wastewater sectors in the Middle East; experience within a consultancy environment specifically in the water industry is preferred
