Installation Manager - Elevators & Moving Systems

Job description / Role

Our client a highly reputable Elevators & Moving Systems provider is seeking to recruit highly qualified engineer to head their installation department.

Reporting to the general manager of the company, the incumbent needs to oversee the entire operations related to installation function, ensures meeting the company objectives in terms of the given time-frame as well as safety, coordinates with all other enteral & external entities to achieve a smooth running of the work-flow, ensures customers & employees satisfaction alike. Accordingly, the job holder needs to:
- Set-up the annual budget of his department in-line with over-all company objectives.
- Set-up department business plan in-line with overall business objectives, and ensure quality assurance & sustainability
- Build-up excellent business relationship with Consultants, Site-owner and Site-engineers.
- Ensure delivery as per contracts specifications & schedule
- Control & plan overall installation process with an objective of delivery the right products specification wise within the time schedule of the project.
- Enhance productivities by conducting close supervision over Projects Engineers & Managers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by follow up continuously on complain- handling process as well as related surveys.
- Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved in all stages of the transition process between the Installation & After Sales Department.
- Monitor & oversee the work-shop related activities
- Assign installation team for each project in-hand.

Requirements

- Proven track record in the elevators and moving system gained from being worked for industry leading brands.
- Full awareness of moving-system specifications & related regulations.
- Industry knowledge
- Degree in engineering obtained from reputable university
- At least 15 years of work experience within elevators & moving system industry
- Hands-on experience in the entire installation process of elevators, escalators and other type of moving systems.
- Hands-on experience in project management such as planning, scheduling, resource allocation and optimization.
- Well versed in costing, efficiency & productivity
- At least 8 years working as managerial / supervision level.
- Up-to-date technology knowledge about moving systems
- Excellent managerial skills
- Excellent leadership & people skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Arabic is a certain plus.
