Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Execute the installation projects in the region in accordance with the contract requirements and within the budget determined by the Regional Manager
- Coordinate with relevant sales employees the overall project schedules in order to finalize the manpower schedule / requirements for the installation work jobs
- Identify the manpower requirements for the installation, also identity any other required resources e.g. vehicles, tools etc. and submit to the Regional Manager for necessary arrangements
- Render necessary advice and guidance to the Supervisors for the uplifting of know-how and morale of the installation workers
- Prepare of the monthly report for installation in Region area
- Check the monthly time sheets of the field staff prepared by the Supervisors before forwarding to accounts department
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance Department of the factories for trouble reports and related matters.
- Implement approved Installation Sections policies, processes, procedures and provide instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
- Participate in incident and accident investigations as required in line with agreed safety, health and environment policies, procedures and controls
- Supervise, guide and assist direct reports to perform their daily activities in accordance with the policies and procedures
- Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring and coaching of direct reports
- Generate commitment, motivation and enthusiasm to team goals, and guide team members through periods of change or uncertainty
- Provide opportunities for team members to suggest, participate in and contribute to improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing initiatives

Requirements

Direct reporting: Regional Manager
Subordinate: Installation Engineer

- Fluent English
- B.A. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or in a related field
- Min 10 years having at least 5 years of experience in elevator/escalator installation
- Knowledge of elevator/escalator design, installation, and maintenance
