Instrument Commissioning Engineer

We have provided Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services, Construction, and Technical Support Services (TSS) to clients in the energy and resources sectors for more than 90 years.
Kentz now has a requirement for an Instrument Commissioning Engineer, based in the UAE. Previous Kentz experience would be highly advantageous for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Liaising with the commissioning team to prioritise commissioning across all contracts as well as liaising with the construction manager to programme commissioning activities thus ensuring that contract deadlines are met.Carry out relevant electrical commissioning programmes and process resources as required.
- Collect and review physical progress data and report to the Project Manager on commissioning progress performance and trends.
- Preparation of Commissioning Manuals and Operating and Maintenance Manuals
- Responsibility for the review and approval of all commissioning documentation received - contractors and equipment vendors in conjunction with the Project Engineers.
- Maintain the Commissioning Plan for the facility/ Equipment
- Manage commissioning contractor and vendor resources to ensure the commissioning effort is completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Report on progress.Setting up the commissioning strategy document which outlines the procedures and processes to be utilised in commissioning the new facility.
- To co-ordinate and manage the completion of the commissioning activities in accordance with the agreed strategy and schedule.

Requirements

- Minimum of a Diploma in an Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 Years of direct relevant commissioning experience on site
- Previous Kentz experience is highly desirable
- Computer Skills
