The RoleThe Rolea) Review contract scope of work and specifications. b) Preparation of Schematics diagrams, Layouts, termination diagrams, block diagrams and loop diagrams. c) Preparation of Material Take Off’s (MTO’s) and Equipment/ Material Requisitions. d) Upon receiving vendors proposals, review of the technical and commercial proposals and provide evaluation / recommendations. e) Preparation of Equipment/ Material Approval Requests and follow up on approval with client. f) Update all design and construction drawings related to above systems and follow up on approvals. g) Design engineer shall be assisted by a team of ACAD draftsmen for preparation of ACAD drawings and MTO’s. |
RequirementsRequirementsA. Shall have at least 5 years’ experience, minimum of which shall be 3 years in design. B. Experience in the field of construction is an added advantage. C. Candidate shall be able to work in engineering or tendering sections. D. Shall have experience in industrial type projects. E. Shall be computer literate. F. Shall be fluent in English, both written and spoken. G. Shall have experience in the following fields: - Design of ESD, SCADA, PCS, F & G, and SIS. - Experience in Telecom Systems and HVAC Control Systems will be an added advantage. - Should be able to prepare logic diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable schedule, cable routings, sizing of cable trays and multi-cable transit design/ layouts. |
