Job description / Role
Reporting to the Proposal/Commercial Manager and coordinating with engineering department related to commercial and technical aspects of the inquiry / tender documents.
He will interact with different departments within company during preparation of proposals for instrumentation works to help prepare and gather the required proposal content.
He will be in charge for delivering Instrument project proposals on time, reduce commercial risk, and maintain the highest standards in providing service to clients.
Requirements
Bachelor's/College Degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
Good communication skills in English both oral and written.
MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Windows Operating System.
Good Knowledge in estimation, procurement, fabrication and construction processes.
Competences in reviewing new inquiry / tender documents.
Verify/check all tender submissions, documentation for accuracy with clients requirements.
Competences in reviewing/preparing the instrument part of the technical proposal for the proposed projects.
Must have a good knowledge of control systems such as APC, DCS, PLC based system, Industrial instruments and international standards.
Review/prepare the Specification / Data sheets of proposed control systems, Instrument materials (e.g. tubing, fittings, cables, etc.), equipment and field instrument for vendor’s quotation.
Ability to review vendor’s qoutations for required Instrument erection materials and equipments.
Prepare instrument list for BM/BQ and I/O list for system vendors.
Competences in determining of deviation and to be listed in tender / proposal.
Competences in checking, review, estimate and summarize base cost.
