Integrated Facilities Manager - Oman

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Facilities Manager for our Integrated Facilities Management operations in Oman.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

For one of our most prestigious client accounts, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Facilities Manager to join our FM team in Oman. The responsibilities of the role are as follows:

*Lead the Facilities Management team on the assigned facility, to provide day to day operational and maintenance management of the site. This will involve delegation of tasks, leadership and stakeholder management
*Work with stakeholders and client side representatives to ensure that all needs and requirements are met
*Manage the procurement and vendor resources to ensure uninterrupted service to the client, and maintaining on budget procurement activity.
*Provide hard and soft services facilities management expertise pertaining not just to the allocated facility, but to the wider business when required.
*Work with critical and UPS systems to maintain the smooth and effective running of all important electrical, mechanical and plumbing aspects of the facility.
*Reporting to the senior facilities manager, act as technical specialist and team leader for the facilities staff on site. This will involve delegation of tasks, ongoing professional development of colleagues and the responsibility of ensuring a high standard of service at all times, as well as troubleshooting and preventing downtime of all systems.
*Plan PPM schedules as well as facilitate reactive maintenance as required
*Work to and enhance facilities management strategy, implementing new ideas and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth and efficient service to all clients
*Must be able to lead a team which will include facilities mangers, technicians, facilities supervisors and other staff

PACKAGE:

*Generous package - circa OMR3000 package dependent on experience

Requirements

Experience and education:

*Minimum tertiary education in engineering e.g. diploma level/NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent
*10+ years of experience in facilities management and maintenance of facilities essential
*MEFMA/BIFM membership ideal
*Native English speaker ideal
