Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a UAE Based well renowned & Leading ship builder and support contractor for all Naval, Military and Commercial Operators in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) needs the following personnel for permanent employment. Candidates for these positions must meet the following requirements:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Coordinate with ILS department for all activities associated with configuration audit, technical data & documentation, Obsolescence management and development of preliminary maintenance mapping for preventive maintenance activities. He shall also coordinate with respective stakeholders for obtaining maintenance instruction and support for corrective maintenance.

Coordinate with Integrated Logistic Support Department to prepare and manage the following:
- Collection of technical data of ships
- Compilation of technical data as required
- Knowledge on how to read and comprehend technical specifications, Drawings and contract documents, setting to work and test &trials procedures.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- ITI in Engineering with 7 years marine / offshore experience or Diploma in Engineering with 5 Years of marine/offshore experience in similar role.

Job-Specific knowledge and skills:
- Technical knowledge of ships
- Knowledge of how to read and comprehend technical specifications, drawings and setting to work and test and trials procedures.
- Knowledge of Shipbuilding operations, ship systems, class society and regulatory body rules, military specification.

Preference shall be given to candidates with hands on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment onboard Marine/Naval ships.

2. All Employment Certificate (from past up to present)
3. Degree/Diploma and
4. Passport.
