Job description / Role
Our client, a multinational organization, is urgently looking for an Integration Engineer who will be based in their Dubai office but may possibly travel across GCC region. For this role, you will expected to ensure configuration management on integration resources by:
1. Analyzing, building and describing the solution including the company offers and third party software.
2. Executing the acceptance test plan with the customers and validation engineer
3. Reviewing the specifications (CRS) & alert on unclear scope.
4. Guaranteeing the solution functionally according to customer requirements.
5. Providing assistance to the customer after the installation (when applicable).
6. Providing support to development and validation teams all along the project.
7. Contributing to the transition from project to support; ensure the supportability of the applications, do the warranty check point, transfer to support.
8. Participating internal training to support when necessary.
9. Contributing to knowledge sharing between GGS integrators providing tools and tips on the job.
10. Interfacing with Technical Leader to audit/define/build the necessary technical coaching of the more junior team members.
Requirements
To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
- Degree in computer science, telecom or related discipline.
- With minimum 2 years of Java (or other language) or complex scripting.
- Very good knowledge of SMS-C protocols.
- Very good knowledge of SIM-Card standards.
- Good knowledge in network architecture (LAN, WAN, Web, Security).
- Good knowledge in hardware sizing.
- Good knowledge in HW Architecture (X86, Sparc, SUN, IBM).
- Basic knowledge in SW Architecture.
- Basic knowledge in High Availability and Geo-Redundancy Implementations.
- Basic customer relationship management.
- Good oral presentation and communication skills.
- Good level of English (oral/written).

Salary package is up to AED20,000 plus standard benefits.
