Job description / Role
Integration Engineer with Unix experience
Analyzing, building and describing the solution including the company's and third party software.
Executing the acceptance test plan with the customers and validation engineer.
Reviewing the specifications (CRS) & Alert on unclear scope.
Guaranteeing the solution functionality according to customer requirements.
Providing assistance to the customer after the installation (when applicable).
Providing support to development and validation teams all along the project.
Contributing to the transition from project to support: ensure the supportability of the applications, do the warranty check point, transfer to support.
Contributing to knowledge sharing between GGS Integrators providing tools and tips on the job.
Interfacing with Technical Leader to audit/define/build the necessary technical coaching of the more junior team members
Requirements
Degree in computer Science, Telecom, or related discipline
2 years of Java (or other language) or complex scripting
2 years of database administration
Very good knowledge of SMS-C protocols
Very good knowledge of SIM-Card standards
Good knowledge in network architecture (LAN, WAN, Web, Security)
Good knowledge in hardware sizing
Good knowledge in HW Architecture (X86, Sparc, SUN, IBM)
Good knowledge in Storage Architectures (SAN, RAID)
Basic knowledge in SW Architecture
Basic knowledge in High Availability and Geo-Redundancy Implementations
Basic customer relationship management
Good oral presentation & communication skills
Good level of English (oral – written)
