Interface Coordinator

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a leading engineering consultancy company. Our client is looking to hire an Interface Coordinator to work with their design team on a major project in Qatar.

You will coordinate and implement all interface system requirements and act as the main point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders for interface activities. Your responsibilities will include being accountable for monitoring project design interfaces and tracking interfaces between systems, civil works and with other external projects. You will also review and validate the contractors interface submittals, handling issues, guiding them towards the best option for the project as well as assessing the contractor's interface progress and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a Degree in Civil Engineering alongside solid experience of analysing system interfaces. You should have worked in the same role for at least two years ideally in Qatar. It is crucial you have the ability to communicate at all levels within a multination project environment. Fluency in English is essential while Arabic is advantageous.
