Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading interior design and architecture firm who specialise in exciting high-end hotel and residential projects. Due to expansion and the award of multiple new projects, our client is looking to hire an Interior Architect to join their team.
You will design and create indoor spaces using form and function as a guide. You will go beyond the artistic focus of each design and ensure all projects are safe and functional. You will be responsible for project research, concept development, client presentations, sales consultations and implementation management. You will also oversee and guide a team of Designers and be solely responsible for the interior architecture on various projects.
Requirements
The successful candidate should hold a Degree in architecture and have experience using Computer Design Software as well as excellent illustration techniques. You should have the ability to visually interpret verbal instructions and suggestions and be able to incorporate plumbing, electrical and mechanical construction features into your designs whilst being creative within budget constraints. You should also be meticulous and possess the ability to meet all deadlines.
