RequirementsRequirementsWe are now looking to recruit an experienced Interior Designer to help open our very first IKEA store in Doha, QatarAs an Interior Designer you will be expected to apply your knowledge and skills to create commercial and aesthetic range presentation solutions that will contribute to the sales while strengthening the IKEA task as a leading source for home furnishings ideas, inspiration and smart solutions.   This role will play a key part in the commercial planning / build up and opening phases of the store. You will also be required to take the lead in the planning, presentation and implementation of store themes and activities under supervision of the Com-In Manager First and foremost we are looking for an individual who is passionate about interior design and home furnishings. It is absolutely essential that you have a minimum of five years experience working the Interior Design field (preferably gained within a retail / home furnishing environment).  In addition we are looking for a person who has extensive coaching / mentoring skills in order to help mentor and develop our store based Interior Designers. As this role requires constant communication with various stakeholders as well as 3rd parties, a strong level of negotiation and command of the English language is required. Your planning and organising skills will be second to none as well as your ability to use your creative eye when it comes to planning and design process.  |
