Job description / Role
The Interior Designer is responsible to oversee the whole of the design process, from receiving initial brief, through concept development, to production of working drawings.
The successful candidate must have experience working on creative concepts which would meet brand guidelines yet push the boundaries of creativity whilst developing our own branded concepts!
Costa Coffee
To provide initial suitability report on prospective properties once identified by leasing
To do space planning to produce sketch scheme and to have plan internally approved
To produce concept submission for approval by Costa MENA and landlord and to liaise directly with all parties to ensure design is approved
To produce working drawings based on Costa models
Attend sites as and when required to resolve any issues that arise
ELR Bars & Restaurants
To receive the initial design brief from ELR directors and brand managers
To produce renderings / 3D perspectives / 360 visuals
To provide multiple solution design options for presentation
To ensure that designs are value engineered in tandem with Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor to ensure best value for money
To submit drawings to landlords with sample boards for approval
To work to timescales set by Project Manager and the business
Requirements
Essential:
Graduate
At least 5 years experience in a design / Architectural practice
Good Internal/ external communicator and being able to build strong relationships, influencing and presenting at a senior level.
Full working knowledge of CAD, photo shop and CAD 3D
Desirable:
Knowledge of Autodesk 3D max is an advantage
Knowledge of Revit is an advantage
UAE license is a plus
