Job description / Role
Reporting to - Senior Interior Designer
Our client, an international luxury brands looking for a strong senior level Interior Designer. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years professional experience including some retail experience, who will work closely to support the existing Senior Sales and Interior Designers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Educated to Degree level in Interior Design
- Support Senior Sales personnel in all aspects of interior design
- Support the Senior Sales in greeting clients, establish needs, and ascertain how the clients space is to be used
- Creating mood boards, including visualization of products chosen
- Site visits and measurement taking
- Administration of projects including:-
a. Preparation of quotations
b. Overseeing the timeline for the project both with suppliers and contractors
c. Coordination with client regarding lead times and installation deadlines
Requirements
- The job requires an understanding of the efficient and functional use of space with a high sensitivity of aesthetics
- Knowledge of drafting procedures
- Skills in furniture layout, 2D, 3D Max (preferable) Adobe and photo-shop
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Creative designing of interior spaces
- Knowledge of furniture/fabric/wall and window treatments
- Preferably Westerner
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent English speaker (Arabic desirable)
