Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leader in the field of hospitality is seeking a strong Internal Audit Manager to join their team.

Responsible for managing individual audits, ensuring they are adequately resourced, appropriately reviewed and completed on a timely basis.

Using your strong analytical skills, you will conduct all assignments professionally and in-line with Audit Department standards. You will mitigate controls whilst identifying potential risks, conduct audit reviews of the effectiveness of systems, procedures and controls whilst ensuring efficiencies. An important responsibility in this role will also include recommending control improvements, documenting all internal audits and delivering quality and timely projects. You will also be managing any special investigations using your strong assessment skills whilst preparing related documents for both internal and external audit committees.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participates in the development of an Audit Plan designed to ensure the integrity of the Companys operations and adherence to applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures;
- Recommends areas to be audited and recommends any changes in content or timing.
- Creates, conducts and evaluates audit programs in order to achieve the plan approved by the Vice President, Internal Audit.
- Assigns audit personnel to particular audits as required.
- Reviews audit workpapers and help chart the course of any additional work.
- Writes/Review audit reports and memos for correctness of content prior to issue.
- Evaluates staff at the completion of an audit and for performance management.
- Promotes the development of the audit staff by providing guidance and training.
- Coordinates with external auditors to minimize duplication of effort and related fees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
