The RoleThe RoleA newly established group company in Dubai is looking for an Internal Audit Manager to provide line management with an independent appraisal of risks and develop action plans to improve control, generate efficiencies and mitigate risks. Plan, organise and conduct comprehensive audits of the Group's activities with particular focus on revenue, operations, costs and utilization of resources of the Group. Job Accountabilities: - Conceptualise and implement an effective audit programme to evaluate business risks, status of internal controls and operational efficiency of the Group's activities worldwide in order to assist Line Managers in achieving business objectives. - Design and control the Revenue Audit's technical audit programmes to protect against revenue leakages and provide reasonable assurance as to the accuracy of revenue data. - Plan and control commercial and operational audits and agree with line management measures to improve revenue, reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency. - Review contractual agreements with special emphasis on properties, major fixed assets, services, catering and advertising in order to assess whether the Group's commercial interests are adequately protected in these areas. - Initiate reviews to evaluate the ability of major systems (manual and computerised) to prevent, detect or correct irregularities and errors and to provide reasonable assurance that information generated from major systems, supports management decision-making at all levels. - To conduct special assignments as requested by clients. |
RequirementsRequirementsQualifications: - Graduate with internationally recognised accounting (ACA/CPA) qualification with specialisation in auditing, financial analysis and business procedures. Experience: - 6 years experience in senior level in auditing functions Knowledge/Skills/Languages: - Considerable exposure to mainframe and PC based applications and computer assisted audit techniques. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. |
