Internal Audit Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to meet the growing needs and diversity of the organization. The Internal Audit Manager should be comfortable with a hands on approach from planning to execution and reporting of audits.

Job Specific Skills
Knowledge and skill in applying internal auditing and accounting principles and practices, management principles and preferred business practices
Knowledge of finance, accounting, Tax, compliance and cost control principles and auditing standards including IFRS/IAS.
Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. Knowledge of commonly used frameworks / tools for Audits.
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial/ audit reports
Considerable skill in effective verbal and written communication, including active listening skills and skills in presenting findings and recommendations
Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, willingness to travel, ability to work under pressure and willingness to take additional responsibilities.

Requirements

Other certifications obtained: ACCA, ACA, CIA, CIMA
Nature and length of previous experience: Manager level within Big Four
Specialist knowledge: Internal controls, financial audit
Soft Skills and Personality traits: team player, professional, leadership
Age Range: 27-35
Nationality Preference: British
Language Fluency: English
