The Role


Our finance and treasury functions are operated to international standards, and are audited annually by globally renowned accounts and advisors. This helps to ensure that every element of our retail operation is of the highest calibre.

Strong financial resources, high standards of financial controls and management through a centralised financial department and detailed business planning that is carried out under the umbrella of a long term corporate plan.

The Role:
An Internal Auditor conducts reviews of organisational and functional activities according to the audit plan and programme, ensuring that satisfactory management, administrative and risk controls are in place to facilitate compliance with established company policies and safeguards the assets of the company.

Responsibilities:
*Reviews and understanding of systems, manuals, software, procedures and records
*Ensures that satisfactory management, administrative, financial, risk and controls are in place
*Executes audits in a professional manner per audit plan
*Reports non-compliance with company policies
*Presents findings in well-drafted and understandable reports to comment on adequacy, audit effectiveness and efficiency of systems
*Recommends improvements to ensure new initiatives achieve company objectives

Requirements


Requirements


* 1-2 years experience in Risk assessment within Auditing
* Relevant internal audit qualification such as(Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Public Accountant)
* Must be a graduate in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
* Excellent communication skills in English
* Must possess good interpersonal skills
* Should be good in presenting reports
* Exposure to Retail business an advantage
