Job description / Role
Our client, an Abu Dhabi Government Authority, has an immediate requirement for an Internal Auditor to join their team in the Abu Dhabi office.
The purpose of the role is to focus on internal controls, policies and procedures ensuring that local and international regulations and policies are complied with across all departments of the organisation.
Evaluation of internal controls, policies and procedures.
Identify weaknesses to recommend an appropriate and effective internal control system.
Manage the internal auditing process to ensure procedures are operating effectively.
Work closely with Senior Management to audit financial regulations and provide accurate and updated financial reports enabling Management to comply with financial requirements.
Assist in the creation and development of internal auditing processes to ensure that all departments are subject to regular review.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Finance and a relevant Accounting/Auditing qualification CPA/CIA
Minimum of 4-5 years experience in internal audit
Previous experience in a Government Organisation
Experience in assessing and analysing internal controls policies and procedures
Proven track record in making recommendations to Senior Management for business enhancement
