Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Scope of the Job
1. Data Analysis.
2. Generating reports based on collecting and gathering data from various departments of the company.
3. Dealing with various employees from the organization to get information.
4. Suggesting improvements on existing processes based on information.
5. Auditing company financials and infrastructure.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Gathers information to perform timely analysis –
- Analysis of invoices, lines, rates, tariffs, taxes, plans, usage, call volume, systems, and contracts resulting in cost reduction, proper invoicing and optimization of telecommunication systems
2. Evaluates and provides reasonable assurance that risk management, control, and governance systems are functioning as intended and will enable the organization’s objectives and goals to be met
3. Reports risk management issues and internal controls deficiencies identified directly to the audit committee and provides recommendations for improving the organization’s operations, in terms of both efficient and effective performance
4. Evaluates information security and associated risk exposures
5. Evaluates regulatory compliance program with consultation from legal counsel
6. Evaluates the organization’s readiness in case of business interruption
7. Maintains open communication with management and the audit committee
8. Teams with other internal and external resources as appropriate
9. Provides support to the company's anti-fraud programs
10. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.

Requirements

Experience, education & qualifications
1. IIA Advanced Diploma
2. IIA IT Auditing Certificate
3. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
4. CA/CMA/CGA designation, or senior level status, is highly desirable.
5. A post-secondary degree preferably in business or finance.

Knowledge
1. International Auditing Standards and Code of Ethics.
2. Knowledge in telecoms and IT infrastructure.
3. Statement of Financial Accounting Standards Rules
4. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Visio
