The RoleThe RoleA leading client of KPMG Oman is seeking to recruit an Internal Auditor for a FMCG Company in Oman. Duties and Responsibilities: • Prepare and present the Audit Plan & Programs used for conducting the audits to the Audit Committee for approval. • Conduct the internal audits as per the approved Internal Audit Plan and professional audit standards, • Conduct investigations and perform special assignments as and when required. • Carry out survey function and activities in assigned areas to determine the nature of operations, compliance with established policies and procedures and the adequacy of the system of internal controls and suggest suitable solutions. • Audit the Governance, Financial and Business & Operational Processes at Departmental and Business level. • Review and report on the Compliance with Corporate Governance other financial & legal matters in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. • Prepare audit reports and other special investigation reports to the highest professional standards for submission to the Audit Committee. |
RequirementsRequirementsRequirements: • Professionally qualified with any or the ACCA I CA I ICWA I CIA I CMA qualifications with and a minimum of 5 years of post qualification experience, preferably in similar/retail operations or with Big 4 auditing firms. Knowl1edge of computer systems audit or audit of retail operations would be an added advantage. • Proficient knowledge of financial auditing standards and relevant Omani laws & CMA regulations is required. • Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills are required. • The candidate should be well conversant with IT systems & office applications and should possess good communication/reporting/presentation skills. As an integral part of the success of this company, the candidate should be meticulous and display integrity and confidence in interaction with Senior Management and Board/ Audit Committee. |
