Internal Auditor

Job description / Role

- Assists in planning work on assigned segments of the audit.
- Assists in determining records or activities to analyze and review and the extent of tests to apply.
- Performs / assists in the performance of the audit in accordance with the approved plan and program and in a professional manner, within approved time budgets.
- Obtains, analyzes, and appraises data as a basis for informed objective conclusions regarding the systems and activities being reviewed, and to satisfy the objectives of the assignment.
- Prepares quality working papers to document work done following guidance from IA P&P.
- Holds preliminary discussions of apparent deficiencies with operating personnel to verify facts and to obtain explanations of and reasons for such apparent deficiencies.
- Appraises / assists in appraising, the accuracy of the corrective action taken to improve deficient conditions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in (Accounting, B.A., Finance)
- Minimum 3 years experience in auditing / accounting
- Good organizational and verbal / written communication skills with attention to details
- Good analytical and interpersonal skills
- Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude
- Results oriented
- Computer skills
- Bilingual (Arabic & English)
- Ability to work with deadlines and without close supervision
- Quick learner and adaptability
